We don't collect anything.
No accounts. No analytics. No tracking SDKs. No telemetry. Your puzzles are between you and your device.

Short version
Eikonal is a single-purchase puzzle game. It runs entirely on your device. We do not operate a backend. We do not embed analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind. We do not have user accounts, and there is no sign-in.
Apple may collect a limited set of information related to your App Store purchase and to crash diagnostics — that is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.
Information we collect
From you, directly inside the app: none.
We do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any account credentials.
- Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, advertising identifiers) for our own use.
- IP addresses, approximate location, or precise location.
- Contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or any sensor data.
- Game telemetry, level completion data, session length, or any usage analytics.
- Crash logs (unless you have opted in to share with developers via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements; in that case Apple delivers anonymized crash reports we may use to fix bugs).
Information stored on your device
The following is saved locally on your device and never leaves it:
- Level progress (which levels you've completed).
- Solve statistics (moves used, mirrors used, time-to-solve) per level.
- App settings (sound, haptics, accessibility preferences).
This data is held by iOS in the app's sandbox and is removed when you delete the app.
Third parties
Eikonal does not integrate any third-party SDKs.
The only third party involved is Apple, by virtue of the app being distributed through the App Store. Apple processes your purchase and, if you have opted in, may share anonymized crash diagnostics with developers. Apple's handling of your information is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.
Children's privacy
Eikonal is safe for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. Because we do not collect personal information from any user, the requirements of COPPA are satisfied by virtue of the app collecting nothing.
Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar)
Regulations such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act grant you rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to opt out of its sale or sharing.
Because Eikonal does not collect or process any personal data, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, delete, or transfer on your behalf, and we do not sell or share personal information.

Data retention
We do not retain any user data because we do not collect any. Data stored locally on your device persists for as long as the app remains installed; uninstalling removes it.
Security
Because no data is transmitted off your device by Eikonal, there is no transit or server-side surface for us to secure. The app relies on iOS's standard sandboxing to protect locally stored progress.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change in the future — for example, if we add optional cloud sync — we will update this policy and revise the effective date above. Material changes will also be reflected in the app's release notes. Continued use of the app after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
