Before you write
A few things speed up a response a lot:
- Device + iOS version — e.g. iPhone 15 Pro on iOS 17.5.
- Eikonal version — visible in Settings inside the app.
- What you did — the steps that led to the issue.
- What you expected — vs. what actually happened.
- A screenshot or screen recording if relevant.
Common topics
- I'm stuck on a level.
- Eikonal is built around physically accurate light. Try rotating elements in single-degree nudges — many puzzles have narrow solution windows. If you've tried for a while and still can't crack it, email and I'll send a nudge (not a spoiler unless you ask).
- My progress vanished.
- Progress is stored locally on your device. If you deleted and reinstalled the app, it's gone — there is no cloud sync today. iCloud sync is on the roadmap.
- The simulation feels stuck or frozen.
- Force-quit and relaunch. If it persists, email with device model + iOS version and I'll investigate.
- I want VoiceOver / Dynamic Type / colorblind support to work better.
- Accessibility is a priority. Please write in with the specific gap. Patches ship fast for accessibility issues.
- I want a refund.
- Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by me. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Eikonal charge, and request a refund. Apple's decision is final on their end.
- I have an idea for a level or a mechanic.
- Send it. Genuinely.
